From Green Kitchen
10/10 will read it again. Such a cute couple TT TT. I love how he encouraged him to open his food truck and also got rid of the trope where one of them throws their whole life and job away to be with the other person. This shows that long-distance can work out, even though it's hard, as long you work at it everything will be fine. ^^ I love food-centric couples so this was definitely a breath of fresh air. This mangaka never misses.
Banka no Kou
Can we have more sweet trans stories like these without frickin misgendering anybody? Because, good lord, this was such a breath of fresh air and a tear-jerker
Bongchon Bride
GAWDAMN, THIS IS HEAVY. IT TOOK WAY TOO LONG FOR THAT MISOGYNISTIC MURDEROUS INCESTUOUS BASTARD TO DIE. AND BONGCHUN BETTER LIVE, OR SO HELP ME GOD, I WILL DESTROY EVERYONE ON THIS PLANET. Edit 3/27/23: This was such a great story. I loved the build-up of their relationship and how kind Bongchun was. The fact that this dude went into debt to save MC's life says a lot. Usually, I wouldn't say I like Korean period piece stories, but this one was handled very well, and I was able to get into it very quickly. I still wished that the brother had died, but in a sense, he did since he doesn't remember anything from his previous life. It was honestly perfect—the right amount of drama, romance, and action. I honestly have nothing against the webtoon except that he called him "Master" throughout the comic. I would have liked to see him at least try and refer to him by his name since, you know, they're married...? But other than that, if I got the time again, I would happily reread this. The art is gorgeous. No words could express how much I love Son Gaepi's sketchy style. It's so fluid and beautiful it almost looks like ancient Asian ink art. I love that everyone looks different and has something significant about them. Sometimes people in manhwas blend, or I forget who they are, but everyone had something that made them stand out, and they were all great characters. I'm glad everyone got their happy ending :D. Yet another Son Gaepi masterwork.
Zero at the bone
10 out of 10 Mastapeece one of a kind. I love action BL. Action is so near and dear to my heart, it's such an adrenaline rush and so dear to hear. I also have an excuse to yell at people about the dumb shit they do lol. A lot of action BL is really rapey or less action and more romance. But this was a perfect balance and I loved it. All the characters were so fun to get attached to and I could easily empathize with their motivations. The twist with the villain was kinda weird, and his plan was really dumb in the end but it means our main couple is safe so I ain't got an issue. I love sketchy styles. It's so unique and pleasing to eye, and combination with the painted colors is just *chef's kiss*. AND ALSO WE STAN STAN SHE IS AN MVP. THE OG. D is like the perfect anti-hero and I'm glad Jack wasn't too much of a damsel in distress to where it was annoying. I wanna forget about this so I can read it and enjoy it again. SOMEONE MAKE THIS A MOVIE
Kabukichou Bad Trip
OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS ACTUALLY A BDSM STORY THAT'S ACTUALLY HEALTHY AND WHERE THEY ACTUALLY COMMUNICATE AND THEY'RE THE SAME HEIGHT AND THEY ACTUALLY LOVE EACH OTHER AND THE SEME IS NOT AN ASSHOLE. WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE. 10/10 definitely recommend. And I love the last arc in the second volume.
Utakata no Uroko
10 out of 10 Was such a beautiful manga, both the art and the story. Definitely a beautiful hidden gem. I feel bad for everyone involved, but I'm glad the mc was able to get his singing voice back. And I'm glad that they didn't explain how he drowned, as it is from the mc's perspective, so ofc he wouldn't know anymore without having a memory of it. I'm glad it just turned out to be fantasy instead of it being that it was all a dream, because that would've been even more tragic. Strangers to friends to lovers will forever be the best classic trope, and nobody can tell me otherwise.
