it’s not confusing on why one of the characters wanted revenge on him, executed it but grew sentimental feelings for him. they have a literal trauma bond together, feelings besides hatred and revenge would grow within those 6 years, esp with the fact that the man who raped him was nice to him (i believe idk i kinda forget ) he saw the man who did something traumatic to him live his life as a nice person and the man even treated him nicely. he saw the man move on with his life and fall in love with someone else, forgetting him. so of course things got very complicated, i hope this ends with healing on both sides.
