HOW? Rape to 'love' stories never really end well. Also it's nothing NEW or original??
It's not even a one shot smut which would be fine. If some characters came out of nowhere and just started going at it, it'd be whatever.
But characters were introduced, stakes were on the line, and Dan had an aspiration.
He's raped every chapter, and they want to call it a story? To be invested in?? As soon as he does something good, it will be a 180 for everyone saying "OH SEE, he's good". That's not how that works.
No rapist is redeemable. There is a way to steer the plot into something more readable and have the character change their actions, but it has to be done right. Nothing has happened. Why should Dan fall in love with someone who is hurting him?
The writing is shit too, they've just been hanging around and doing nothing for almost 30 chapters now, not much has happened or progressed:
- Dan's grandma dying
- Boxer has a Jinx
- uhhh Dan gets sick? Is that a plot point even
- Gang gets beat up
- They spar
That's so little, even for a 'slow paced' story. When will something change?
