Okay so... Let me get the pros out of the way first. I dont usually leave comments on bls ive read bc well- i already would've written alot in my rec list either way, but theres something worth getting all-rambly about with this story. So first of all, the pros, 1) I really love the dynamic between what-the and no-name (hehe the names are spoilers!) And think its really refreshing and beautiful. 2) ACTUAL QUEER middle eastern rep!!!!!! Thats huge! And its done pretty hmm respectfully too! Im glad that no-name's design isn't harmfully stereotypical by any means and how his looks resembles actual regal middle-eastern outfits. I think it's pretty good. And the story itself is very interesting and i liked the concept and the flow of the story. Just beautiful. Though of course there were some cons too... Particularly I didn't like how the prince talked about 'slaves' and similarising his position as theirs; because come on, you're rich and powerful kot. It's just something i nitpick about when people try to sympathize that sort of narrative, it just gets cringey. Also the second con is, wtf is that misunderstanding scene LMFAO. it went by so fast and so unnecessary too. Like just talk to each other for abit my god. But otherwise than all of that, i do enjoy the story and would recommend it. I think its quite special really!! Thats all ^^ <3
