The only way the middle part makes sense is if the other couple's relationship issues got fixed too but we never get the payoff of all that pain and suffering. Sagan being wishy-washy with Ki-san is WHY he fell for Ei to begin with which caused all the breaking up... So why don't we see Sagan and Ki-san fix their relationship too? Otherwise what the hell was the point of v3?
