Mujaki na Wanko to Nekokaburi
Would rate this a 10/10. I was worried the couple would go into a jaded path, what with how mismatched they were at first. Esp the uke who’s very jaded and cowardly in conflict and interaction by nature (which I relate to). Nonetheless, the author was quite creative in that they were able to smoothly ease the tension between two polar opposites and actually allowed them to blend in together as a couple and grow in each others’ companies. Their interactions are sweet; they resolve conflict point-on and are very very sweet with each other. Additionally, the art is quite beautiful. It’s not new but the chemistry with the story goes really well.

I finally found that yaoi that my younger self really really liked (apparently). I find it so funny, that just a few years ago I found this hot and now I fully realize they're like... cousins COUSINS. I honestly dont know what to feel (￣∇￣") Also, how funny would it be if the editor and publisher and author's conversation for this went like this in their sales pitch: "Ok, I have this idea. Lovers, but the antagonist is this unknown not curable but actually curable disease." "Say no more. Sold." "Oh, but we'll only give you 7 chapters to cram all that." "Wait, what ????" "Also, since its 7 chapters, make it incest. Don't make them not related by blood. We need something to hook the audience with." I keep imagining this to preserve my sanity (▰˘◡˘▰) Anyways, this is a 4 out of 10 (trying to be nice to my younger self lol) (P.S. If it's just sex scenes alone and a standard PWP, it'd prolly go up to 5 or 6.4 or smthn)
