I don’t remember if I read some of the novel, but it does seems familiar.
I do have to say, I like how the author incorporated such raw and intense emotions. Although don’t agree with the harsh and forcefully actions of the hyung. In the end he’s forcibly ruining the bond between them but also forcing him to accept the reality.
