Two boys grew up together as childhood friends. As they grew older, one ghosted the other for an unknown reason. The main character finds his friend again, & wants to rekindle their past friendship, & maybe something more! I like how the author so far, explores the childhood friend's insecurities & issues. Certain actions seem dumb, but when put in perspective, became more understandable, to me. His emotions were valid & I empathized with him. Update: From posing, drawing style & expressions, love interest feels like a woman. Feels more heteronormative & turns me off Update: This story feels like it's going in circles. There's not much fof a story or set of goals or idea we're building to. Just momentary dramab which feels silly. Update: The story is about how this couple navigates their new relationship. I feel like this doesn't have much of an idea for a plot to work to. It's minor drama. Update 2/26/22, End: Awwww now that I finished this, I appreciate it so much more. Now that I see where it ends, I have a better understanding of what the author wanted to accomplish: she wanted to show their relationship. It's just the main characters going from childhood friends to lovers, & adjusting to their new relationship. Simple idea. It's really too bad the author wasn't able to show everything she wanted & had to cap it at 30 chapters. The drawings were really pretty & the sex scenes were erotic. She has an art style which lavishly draws & colors & you can see the work put in.

After moving in together, the main character discovers his best friend has a double personality. It comes out at night and leads to him and the main character having sex. The friend is unaware that this is going on. Kind of a weird concept. I do frown upon the main character because in the beginning, he has sex with his friend without his consent. Although he does get blackmailed by the double personality to keep their weird, sexual relationship secret from the main personality, the main character's actions are rooted in dishonesty towards his friend. I wish he could have found a way to try and put distance between himself and the situation when things got weird. or rather I just want to see a main character who doesn't allow himself to bend to the will of others so easily. someone who will fight back against the black mailer. It bothers me that at no point did the main character even consider moving out since he was so troubled by this new personality. Even if it's to be dismissed at least awknowledge the idea. And if this option disappeared then he could have really been the bigger person and just come clean to his friend about the entire crazy situation since he does have a right to know what's going on with his own body. Im definitely not trying to be a wet blanket and make the story boring. They don't have to follow through with the reasoning, but just the act of acknowledging it helps me become more invested in the story. I like this so far. Definitely a dubious concept, but the purpose of this is meant to be a morally dubious BL. it leaves for some interestinf tension between the main two's relationship. Drawings are really nice. Sex is drawn well. This author is SOOOO good at drawing sex!!! Kyaahhh

It's fine. I don't need to read more. Stopped at Chp. 21. Two childhood friends take their relationship to the next level. Everything is straightforward and simple. A little too simple for my taste. The story didn't interest me and I'm not quite sure why but the sex scenes didn't spice me up either. It's still a cute story with lovely drawings

I don't know if this is specifically a yaoi, but it's definitely a BL. Slow, realistic, & relationship oriented story. Two friends who went their separate ways after high school unexpectedly meet again. Could this be the second chance at a relationship which never was?

Super cute!! REREAD Older Uke takes the virginity of his friend's younger brother who just turned 20. They both like each other but misunderstandings ensue as uke struggles to ultimately confess his love. Kinda smutty

Holy crap this is good.... This is sheet gripping, toe curling goodness for me. I loved the bdsm & the relationship with the main pair. I love the introduction of the twin look alike-- that was fun! I love that there's a reasonable logic to how the characters act & react. The only thing is that this story does that thing where the main pair literally both like each other, but the seme has some nonsense reason for not wanting to admit feelings or take the relationship to the next level (reminds me of the rubbish from 4 Week Lovers). But maybe it might not be nonsense. We're barely uncovering the seme's internal turmoil surrounding this hesitancy to admit love & it actually seems very interesting in how it relates to his attraction to BDSM & internalized fear surrounding that. 061623: God dammit, update!!! It's tragic!!!!! They wasted so many years when they could've been friends!! Its a abused-uke, save-the-uke, re-encounter plot. Two former friends/classmates had their relationship go from childhood friends, to bullying, to strangers. Finally, as adults, the seme wants to restabilish a relationship, while in the uke's home life, he deals with abuse in his life. I've seen this kind of concept before, but this did not feel tired. I liked the character writing, specifically in the nuance found in the uke's character. His behavior felt complicated, not always pleasant but understandable. For example, he has been in the role of both bully to being bullied. I can understand the reason for his antisocial/ closed off disposition, and the reason he reacts the way he does to the seme. Poor thing feels hurt, and like he can't trust anyone. Anyways, I'd really like if this updated!

Nahh... I read up to chp.8 Brunette is an annoying twerp.& he's the uke, like puh-lease, why would the MC want to go after him? He is not attractive or charming (personality wise). At least I'd feel he would match the role of seme more because he is literally the one pursuing the MC. At the point in the story of their first & second sexual encounter, seme does not even like uke. He engages with him out of spite & he hates him. Uke does not respect personal boundaries or the word "No", & he's betraying his trust yet again with his role as a spy. They're no good together. Annoying ass uke FINISHED

Masterpiece Beautiful re-encounter plot where it begins with two childhood friends, one who is outcasted for having a different appearance (red eyes) and ability. After a certain incident, the outcast friend is presumed to be dead, but the MC holds on hope of him being alive for many years. Finally as an adult, they encounter each other again by chance, but this time, the MC discovers the lost friend now to be in the ruling position of power for the country, with his identity hidden, in a position traditionally meant for a female. Seriously, this has such a interesting plot, beautiful romance, and really cool concept and setting. It's not often I get to see stories based in such an ancient tribal version of Japan. Shiki's role feels tragic as he was kidnapped and groomed for this position of power and responsibility he never asked for, and now this role keeps him physically separated from his friend, the MC, who he loves because of some spiritual law about maintaining purity. This is based on really cool lore. All this makes me root for the main pair more. Who knows if this will update soon online, but I believe in 2024 via Amazon, physical English copy will be sold!!!!!!️
