2021. So..... My main problem with this is that none of the emotional beats in the writing get me the way they're supposed to. I can only think it has something to do with the execution. Maybe they could've used more panels or powerful shots? In addition to this, all the information we're given is vague & only lightly touched upon. The author introduces these crazy characters, crazy circumstances but Im left wanting more clues for what happened or what will happen. I don't need anything concrete, but just something to spur my imagination, but for whatever reason, I don't get that from this. These two setbacks left this, albeit interesting concept, feeling empty for me.

I LOVE this setting!! I've never seen anyone do Renaissance!! A priest and a king have a secret romantic relationship, resulting in the priest getting pregnant and them navigating that.
