SO. *folds hands* I like this author's work alot! It's always super hot, passionate, & ultra lovey dovey! This had steaming hot sex scenes which I loved! (Her sex scenes are great ) BUT! This had cheating. Look, I thought the NTR was hot, but in terms of story, the way it was handled was NOT! It was glossed over completely. & Thanks to info from another reader we know that some pages are missing. Now granted, maybe they actually talked about the cheating between this gap, but we honestly don't know. It's actually really hilarious because all we see is that they go from middle of arguing and being really angry, to the next page, like a hard cut of them licking ass in these graphic poses

I have alot of feelings on this webcomic. First time i read it, I made it to chp. 50 then dropped it. Main pair's relationship was too toxic and I wasn't seeing enough progress. Second time reading it a year later (or smth) and it is STILL very toxic. But, now, this time I know for sure it is an abusive relationship. Where to start? I'll start with what bothers me. - It romanticizes an abusive relationship. This comic depicts an abusive realtionship. The story lampshades this by having characters awknowledge this. For example, Lord Seungho's servant tells Nakyum in the beginning, "He's a very violent man. Be careful of him". While having sex, Seungho will mistreat him, either in instances of slapping, being too rough or forceful. Characters awknowledge he is violent and has moodswings. But, this will be completely forgotten or glossed over. This violence is actually used to help romanticize Seungho by empasizing his moments when he shows affection. It creates this ideal that "you're special because you're the only one he shows kindness to" as when readers are going through the story in Nakyum's shoes. But, I have learned since my last time reading, that abusers have moments of kindness and sincerity. But it is important to focus on how they act when they're at their worst. Seungho treats Nakyum with no respect, by not honoring his autonomy, not respecting him, being too possesive and violent. I also feel the time period is an excuse to feel as though this treatment is normal. Seungho is a Lord and Nakyum is a peasant. Seungho controls everything in the house, including the people, like our mc. The context in the story shows all nobles are like this as well (tho Seungho is the worst). With that in mind, it feels as though his treatment of superiority towards Nakyum is normal in a sense. i feel this helps excuse his behavior and further romantize their realtionship. - I hate that "No" means "Yes". Whenever they have sex, Nakyum is always crying for Seungho to stop and repeatedly says "No". I hate this fucking trope. it feels as a way to bypass consent with the excuse that "he actually really likes it". I think this problematic too because where do you draw the line? How do you differentiate when Nakyum says no because he likes it or no when he really means it? -The handling of rape is disgusting. The rape is glossed over, completly forgotten about or sexualized. Especially when Nakyum atarts to confess that it helped "awaken his sexual desire" and that he actually liked it. That is horseshit. That and other instances show sometimes REALLY stupid logic. -Stupid Logic, Characters going back & forth. For example, there was another scene where Seungho's manservant worries over Nakyum who is locked in a shed as punishment. He thinks to himself, "I shouldn't worry. Lord Seungho wouldn't do anything to hurt him". The same servant who warned Nakyum of Seungho's violence told him that. In the very next scene, Seungho rapes Nakyum. Not to mention Seungho has a history of slapping and giving Nakyum a bloody nose or bashing his head. Characters go back and forth thinking Seungho is violent or loving towards Nakyum in a confusing way, especially Nakyum. We know Nakyum followed Seungho's orders because of In-hun being used like hostage. But Nakyum later says some bullshit like he did it because he wanted to, when we as the audience know very clearly that is not what happened. Or when Nakyum says he liked the "sex"(rape) when readers could recall the context and understand he was terrified. -Nakyum is Bella Swan. Our mc Nakyum has no personality. His whole world revolves around his love interest, and for a long time that is In-hun. Na makes no decisions, he only reacts. He is a passive character. Scene after scene, we only watch him cry. That's it. That's all we see. Seungho is the interesting one. We also see Nakyum brutalized alot. There were several points where I wondered if the author has a fetish for drawing that. -One personal gripe, is that Na looks like a girl.
