Omfg I really cried! Istg! Not really a fan of kouhaixsenpai and unrequited love tropes but chapter 5 was it for me! Idk the desperatiin, the words conveyed, the emotions made my eyes bawl! This is just my take: I think uke returned the pen because that pen is the the seme/relationship when they started dating. Seme said it was a known and expensive brand but it was so sudden so he was not able to have it engraved. It's like it's just giving appearances, just bec it is his bday he will give something expensive but it has no meaning to it because it was sudden he never took time to think about it that's why there is no label (engravement). It has no meaning that it is extra special. Meanwhile the keychain, it was the past seme, that uke cant let go. It symbolizes the person he admired and fell madly in love. That's why he wants to hang in to it. ong im rambling coz im cryung

Ugh I hate some rof the comments here. First off, Kota was right not to confess his love to Tecchan. He knows himself that he might not survive his sickness. It might not be stated by him but he is also not sure if their feelings were mutual. I know he also worries that his feelings might just be reciprocated out of pity (if Tecchan doesnt feel the same) because he knows how kind Tecchan is to him. He already devoted his almost his whole life to him. Even if he thinks Tecchan feels the same, he might be thinking what's the point? He might not make it- it will only cause Tecchan to grieve more. All the reason why he made an effort to hide "his treasure". They love each other, but it's just really not meant to be. Shun isnt a replacement for Tecchan. Tecchan made that clear at the beginning that he isnt Kota. It was actually Shun who wants to replace Kota in Tecchan's life. What Tecchan feels about Shun at first was anger because he feels Shun is trying to be Kota in his life when he already accepted Kota is no longer alive and no one can just soil his memory of him. No one even knows about who is Kota to him ffs. That anger turned into curiosity as Tecchan of course being kind as he is. Then eventually turned into interest. Tho the sex part, that was realistic. I mean why wouldnt you do it if someone was literally throwing himself at you and someone (at the mixer) is justifying that there's nothing wrong if youre gonna do it. That moment of weakness is real af. Some lovers get affirmation that they like/love someone after a moment of weakness or intimacy. Kota, no matter how right his love is for Tecchan, it's sad that it shut him from the world outside. He had a thinking as long as Kota needs him or they have each other. As for Shun, being with him taught Tecchan to notice people around him, how sad it is to be alone and take an initiative for something. The time he got curious about Shun was already his first influence to him and ignited his change of heart. First step in moving on. The only thing that dont make sense to me tho is Shun not contacting Tecchan for a week because he is "uncovering Kota's treasure" I mean youre crazy about sensei, he already said he like you. You were ok to be mistress and then here he goes saying it's ok i like you let's date then you ran away without saying anything? Damn BL misunderstanding trope. Everything else still good tho. Take my 5 stars

IG it's the author's style of skipping like some details or backstories. The plot is good I just wished the time MC is struggling with his emotions couldve just been used to give way to lole other back stories or other details. the ending is a bit rushed yes like choi hyun ki was this villain who even resorted to bribery, kidnapping, drugging and detaining someone then just giving up just like that? but overall good story and should have a higher rating

I have been holding back reading this manwha and now I regret not reading it sooner. I always do hard pass for one night stand plots but I never seen anything like this. they are both so pure and precious. All I can say is that Giran's random act of kindness when he saved SG changed their lives forever. At first he saved SG then in the future he will be saved by him. What a masterpiece!
