omg that was absolutly amaizing !!!
so the story follows a stoick lawyer that keeps everyone in distance and younger amish man that left his home town for good and tryes to figuer out his life
they bacislly meet by accident - lawyer lost some impostarnt documents in envelope and the amish working as janitor at his work place finds it and gives it back, Trevor the lawyer basiclly falls in love at firts time and makes amish boy - Gene go home with him after finding that he is homless, offers him job as houskeeper and a room where he can lives with him, later the story is both happy and sad, nostalgic but beautifull
we slowly gets to know how exaclly looked therir relationship as a memory from Trevors dairy from old times that his nephew finds while cleaning one on the rooms ( to put it simple the whole manga begins with nephew perspective - he wants to go to NY and his parents says: you can go it will be your bday present but you will stay at your uncle place and WILL clean one room as a thanking for letting you stay)
so the story continiues as they progres with they relationship form strangers to friends to lovers with whole rorellcoster of emotions, letting themself be true with what they feel and what they want, meking dreams come true, forgiving themslef and finding the love they needen and wanted
the story lets us know that they were toghter for 2 years before Gene goes to Canada to study more after beeing recomender st collage
they goes sepereted ways and unfortunetlly do not keep in touch ( that made me really sad for a while i thoughth that Gene will die :c ) but with litte help from trevors nephew named after Gene they meet again after 16 years and try to find out what they want and how they want to makes things right between them after so much time but 1 think is certain they will stay together
also this is the story of the boy that left his amish family that was mentioned in: Rumspringa no Joukei
and also we can see main couple in that but in very short interacons and single panell
