From day 1, I have NEVER felt bad nor any sympathy for Wonho bcus he was a horrible person who slept around under the excuse of " sponsorship" and the only reason he started to change and wanted to finally be a good bf towards Min-ki bcus the main sponsor CEO got obsessed and Taeyoung being a good guy came with feelings for MK. I can say, as I've reached the end and have read the side story to both couples, I have equal respect for both of them. The relationship between MK and TY didn't feel boring to me in any way because I was proud of MK finding the courage to peacefully end things with MH, even after all the things he did to him and the pain of the whole truth of his scandal. The ending for MH & MK was the result of falling out of love, hiding too many secrets, and not having good communication, but in the end, both could wish each other well despite how much hate they caused each other. EW and MH's start was built on a transactional relationship that led to blurred lines and dirty laundry that lead to scandal that shook and destroyed so many people in the mix, I'm not sorry for MH and the pain and insecurities he manipulated onto MK...BUT I can understand him still trying to be genuine and supportive in his heart towards his lover while trying to hide the ugly parts of him, feeling bitter die to his own insecurities and limitations he faced.

I think in this case it was good that the ML was older than both the MC and the so-called "bitter 2ML" because it played a big role in how the MC was able to move on, find the clarity to move, and let an old love be what it was without feeling any animosity towards them, yet parting in peace and wishing them the best. The ML had the experience because his first love came and went, but he also had the experience to truly open up his heart to the MC even before dating because he had felt his hurt and had loved someone deeply before. I do believe the 2ML will have it harder than the MC, and I say that with confidence, because he was stuck forever with the idea that the MC was always going to choose him, due to his repetitive actions and lack of remorse until the very end when he was forced to open his eyes and see that the MC shaking his hand for the last time, indicating a final goodbye and peace marker. He finally realized there was no going back and it was time to pick up the pieces, whether he liked it or not, and move on from ever getting a second chance at love with the MC. I can empathize with where the 2ML was coming from, even if I didn't like the methods he used, because their love was fresh and each had so much to give the other, but it was cut short by things that were out of their control. That love didn't die but was forced to change form and hid behind masks, which put them in a weird limbo of "what are we" versus "what we are supposed to be." This led each to handle and cope in ways that drew them farther apart than close until nothing was left of their true relationship but hurt, very shaky foundations, and undisclosed words and conversations left unsaid.
