I don't think chastising him for not having experience with guys is right. If anything, this was a conversation they should've had before and definitely in private. Yes, I do believe that DL's and "I only like him/her" are the reason so many people within the LGBTQIA+ community have been put in very dangerous situations that have resulted in death but to throw that on either one of them isn't fair. I like how, within the confession, both of them apologized to each other and talked through the main issue before moving into an official relationship.
