Ray and her older brother Hayes are driven out of their home as their household falls apart. Hoping to find shelter, they arrive at an ominous castle covered in bloody red roses located in the middle of nowhere. This is where Ray meets the castle's mysterious host Clodan—a dark, beasty man possessing dangerous charm and even more deadly secrets. Within the enclosed walls of a remote castle, there is no reason or logic left as Clodan desires innocent Ray.
When I Stopped Being Your Shadow
I'm happy she got her divorce and usually I'm a fan for divorce tropes but for some reason I'm struggling to connect with her. If anything it's irksome because I feel she's just using the ML, who basically a fan with puppy love syndrome I didn't feel the need to read more after she got her divorce as it was complete for me. After the divorce it feels like I'm reading another manga with different protagonists if anything the divorce is the highlight of the story it doesn't feel like builds her character rather she's an OP character here are her strengths.
