Whenever you think there is nothing else fun to do with this couple now that they are completely stable and adjusted, surprise! This story is mostly good but sprinkled with annoying characters that slow down the pace and can become rather exhaustive. Couples 2 and 3 are not interesting at all, and I advise you to skip those chapters. Also, like with most Korean media, the violence in the story is not treated with any real severity by the authorities. I don't want to give too much away, but a character physically assaults a person, causing them to become deaf, they are not punished at all. We'll continue seeing him throughout the story and even be asked to empathize with him as he kidnaps our main character at one point. Skip every character that isn't our main couple it may spare you some anger.

This story ends up being more about vampire politics than romance, there are too many chapters, and it's hard to keep up with everything happening at times. The main couple is enjoyable in the beginning, they have a type of refreshing start to a relationship where they have always been too close, and now one of them is panicking about the implications of this while the other has already accepted the fact that they are soulmates. It gets way too dark with the vampire lore by the middle, and it never stops, I wish it could have stayed fresh and weird without the crushing weight of 500 years of senseless violence.
