Furimuite Yukino-chan!
Kinda bland, but the artwork is cute. The story is pure and sweet.
Iiko no Furi wa mou Yameru
Almost good. It starts so bad, with the yaoi staples: blackmail, superficial plot, and a "straight" seme who is of course an asshole. One of the few good aspects of the story is that the uke is aware of the seme's flaws and punishes him for his behavior, even if it's just a little bit. As the story progresses, it gets even more cliché and tiring, to the point where you don't even care that the seme improved. I just can't get on board with this couple, they leave a bad taste in my mouth.
Doutei Nana-kun Foreign Love
Some useless misunderstandings but overall good.
Hello Green Days
Rational Pervert Romance
It's kinda difficult to connect with the characters since everything moves way too fast. They just tell you about the development instead of just showing you, with good storytelling and efficient pacing.
Living With Him
Slow burn 10/10, genuinely heartwarming. I appreciate how much thought the uke puts into giving his answer after the seme confesses to him, he wants to be sure his feelings are deep before agreeing to date him. The same goes for the seme who is very respectful when it comes to the person he's been in love with for a long time, he never even considers playing immature games(like pretending his dating someone, ignoring him) so that the uke will realize he loves the seme faster, he genuinely doesn't want to pressure the uke into anything.
Link and Ring
The artwork is not my style, story-wise it's quite well-developed and natural. The seme seemed to be a coward who would hurt their partner with their inability to contradict the status quo, even at their expense. He becomes much braver and more reliable by the end of the story. The uke is a seemingly shy and quiet character, but he does know how to defend himself when necessary. The romantic milestones are quite boring due to the realism they were going for, none of the theatrics I enjoy so much. No dramatic kissing in the rain moments to see here, which I was dissatisfied with. I love that they are in college, as opposed to the classic high school setting.
Unromantic
It is absolutely unacceptable the way the uke treats the seme, from being discriminatory against him by verbally abusing him to physically abusing him. I cannot believe people think this relationship is cute, it's revolting how lightly the seme takes the violence directed towards him as if it's a joke, he continues to like this man for no reason other than hormones. It's sad how stories like these are still regarded as romantic when they are simply abusive and sad.
