Well this manga is fucked. At least the author doesn’t try and spin it any anything but what it actually is — a super fucked up, abusive power-embalanced “relationship” 5hat barely has legs to stand on. Rape is every single sex scene EXCEPT the one that was a FANTASY. I should have known this was gonna be DARK as fuck at the begining, when he tried to kill himself.... AND his brother. Even the moments that are supposed to show that they are meant for each other (them smelling good to each other, for instance, or the fact that his pheromones soothe the omega from a panic attack when a different, SAFER alpha’s does not) fall flat because the abuse is fucking HORRIBLE. I usually sort of kinda like those plotlines where one of the two is in denial of their attraction/feelings, but this is on a whole different level of messed up and it doesn't actually satisfy this at all.
This is not a manga for the faint of heart, and it’s CERTAINLY not a love story. It’s a story of someone who is desperate, abused, and scared as all fuck. Proceed with caution.
AGAIN, this is not cute, THIS IS FUCKED UP, if you can handle consistent sexual assault and rape, suicidal idealation, psychological abuse, and did I mention rape? Then this MIGHT be a decent read, but it doesn’t come across as actual *porn* to me, more like a story focusing on how shit the character(s) are and how fucked the situation is.
