How did I end up reading this at 2 am??? AND I HAVE TO WORK IN A FEW HOURS!?!? I’m crazy… Anyways, I originally had this is my “Not Gonna Read” pile due to some comments about the ML but I gave it a try anyways. My heart breaks for Naho - obviously it gets better but when he started stuttering, avoiding Kana, saying he’s not cute, being ashamed of himself, and other things - it felt like my heart was sinking. That poor boy - although, I do think it’s great that he started to see people besides Kana which is the only pro in this situation. My baby folded as soon as he got locked in a room with that asshole - honestly, I would too Someone said it’s pathetic that he relies on others praise for him but THAT IS NOT TRUE!!! I do think it is sad but not pathetic. He has been consistently praised by the small group of people by him ever since he was young and has had no way of growing his own confidence. No one could tell him otherwise because that same small group of people sheltered the absolute hell out of him. I was like that until 6th grade when I realized people can hate you, no matter the cause
