After getting into a messy altercation Kyouda sends a desperate request to best friend Kaname to help him get out of a sticky situation but it is unfortunately too late. Next day at school Kaname opens the message and ends up becoming intertwined in the mess that led to his friends death but he never would've guessed how far this journey would've taken him.
I stated this because I wanted to read all the sources for the anime that would be released in the upcoming seasons and stumbled across this. Darwin's Game is a mystery survival game where we follow our protagonist Kaname the stoic and very uninterested boy as he gets involved in a game that puts his life on the line. I found myself on a rollercoaster of emotions when reading this. It's really good and the anime will be even better I think
