Shuuichi and Maki have been very close since childhood with the two being only 2 years apart. But after an uncomfortable situation with shuus girlfriend and his friends attacking maki his feelings are revealed putting the two in a mutual relationship.

while I do not love this I am giving it a high score because I appreciate the fact that it did not brush over the rape like it was nothing and shuu didn't immediately have sex with maki after he was assaulted it dealt with its serious topics a LOT better than other manga.
