Dia Game

Art (2) Dia is too feminine looking for my tastes and I even mistook him for a girl initially. Other than that, I guess I have no other complaints because Master and Kuro both looked great and the anatomy of the characters was pretty solid... Though the background in a lot of panels was kinda lacking. Plot (1) Despite having solid pacing, this manga still lacks something special to make it memorable. It has an interesting (yet overrated vampire/human love story) concept... But the execution of the antagonist was a bit off. They could've exploited the fact that the Master had a lot of resources and could hire lackeys, who aren't such pushovers. I don't believe that he would just let Dia get away without much fuss. Plus, the fact that there was no explanation offered as to how and why Kuro fell for Dia in the first place. One big, unresolved mystery. Ending (0) Surprisingly, they live happily ever after and I find this too shoujo and cliche.

Kami-sama No Iutoori (moegi Yuu)

Art (2) Pretty good, considering this manga is by Moegi Yuu-sensei. I love the anatomy, as usual, especially how the hands and lips were drawn (sexy). The characters, while I consider them 'beautiful', don't come across as girly looking; however, because of his clothes, Midori appears kinda drag queen-ish during the park encounter. Plot (2) While not exactly rare, I like this supernatural take on a deity/ human relationship. The pace is surprisingly fast, but mangas like this one rarely stretch out to many volumes, so I understand the need to keep the story rolling. Though, I am not sure if I like the fact that a third person was used to reveal the main 'conflict' of the story. Ending (-) Since it's an ongoing project, I'll leave this section blank.

Cute! The story lacks for any concrete character development, but the premise of the story is really unique. Would have liked for an external conflict (i.e. the newspaper man) to be the bigger focus of the story, but the fluff isn't so bad.
