First, when she met Terdeo, she accidentally scratched Terdeo’s hand with a ring. The blood was then transmitted to a cookie she ate. She died after that. Second, Terdeo made her drink his blood for confirmation that she indeed is unaffected by the curse. She died once again. Third, she drank water that had Selphius’s blood. She died again. (There was a fourth time in which her food was poisoned but I’m not sure whether she died or was near death.) • MC has a nightmare almost every night about her death in her past life. He didn’t love the first one. In fact, he was cold to her and they didn’t spend a night together. The first wife was obsessed with Terdeo, and when she learned of Terdeo’s blood curse, she used to pressure him into marrying her, but they were soon divorced after two months. The first wife was never seen again. • Terdeo, along with his siblings, had a pitiful childhood. Their mother thought of them as monsters. • Terdeo is sweet to MC. He piles food on MC’s plate when they eat together. He pretends that he isn’t busy. He was restless when MC was poisoned. He tells MC that he thinks she’s amazing the more he gets to know her. He also doesn’t hate being touched by MC knowing that the curse doesn’t work on her (but we all know what’s up.) -Selphius or Selphi (son) • Selphius Sultan Lapileon • Selphius is Terdeo’s nephew, but he adopted him and made him his successor after his brother died. • Selphius used to live in the countryside, rumoured to be barbaric similar to Terdeo, but actually, he was sent to the countryside for fresh air and recuperation. • The curse is volatile to young ones (???), so, Selphius is always sent back to the countryside. • Sasha told Terdeo that Selphius’s actions are Terdeo’s burden because he never taught Selphius anything and only sent him to the countryside, and since then, they decided to let Selphius live in the mansion. • Selphius always nags Terdeo regarding Sasha’s well-being. I think, his character is well written because he still has his child-like innocence but still possesses the ruthlessness of the Laperion genes. -Cersia (sister in law) *Sercia is MTL name • Cersia Jane Lapileon • Sercia is older than Terdeo. She also owns a wine business (??) • Sercia’s daughter and husband died after her blood accidentally transmitted to the food she prepared for them. She blames herself for her death. • Sercia is fond of MC because (a) MC is not afraid of them, and (b) MC reminds her of her husband and child. • Sercia is scary. Scarier than Terdeo. -Islet • Islet Lapileon • Islet is the sole surviving member of Terdeo’s collateral bloodline. • Her biological mother, Meline, and her stepfather, and brother abused her. They extract her blood and sold it as pills. Islet is also blamed for her father’s death. • I forgot when exactly Islet met Sasha, but I remember that she called her fairy. And she thought that the fairy can take away her curse, so, she won’t be abused by her family anymore. • Sasha tells Islet that it wasn’t her fault that her father died, and that anyone can be hurt by their blood, but no one can hurt them. • Islet was then adopted by Phineas. -Pierce or Phineas (Uncle) *Terdeo is Theodore, Sercia is Cersia • Pierce Gun Lapipelon (uncle that pretty can pierce his gun into me -bureau) • Pierce is Terdeo and Sercia’s uncle. He is a doctor. He spent his life trying to find a cure for the curse. • Pierce already liked Sasha because of the numerous letters he received from Sercia, Terdeo, and Selphius. -Madam Gloria (previous grand duchess) • Gloria M. Lapileon • Gloria also knew about Sasha because of the letters. • She is thankful for Sasha and feels that she has saved the family. • Sasha and Gloria’s interaction was short because they had to go to the capital to process Islet’s adoption, but after that, they plan on staying at the Laperion mansion. -Adeus Fortune • Suspicious blonde guy, complete opposite of Theo (ML) • He’s the blonde guy who suddenly appeared in front of Sasha. He claimed that he is Rebecca’s childhood friend and he is being quite pushy on getting close to her. He’s an illegitimate child of a viscount and he was sent to another country because of his fondness to alcohol and women. -Dahlia (or Dodolea) • Princess Dahlia, 4th Princess • So, to put it simply, this 4th Princess is a crazy bitch. She’s literally obsessed with Theo. Every night, she’s writing unfamiliar ancient letters as a blood pledge related to Theo and she needs his hair for the blood pledge so she once tried to approach him with a knife. She was a sickly princess so she has never been educated or attended the academy, so being able to write ancient letters is suspicious. -Rebecca Knights • Sasha’s (FL) lady-in-waiting • A daughter of a poor barony -Siph or Sif (Ex-husband) • FL’s husband in her past life • A commoner soldier • He actually doesn’t love Sasha, he only married her because of Reina’s request -Reina Zahardt • FL’s younger stepsister (not related by blood) • Despite that, Sasha still treated her well like a full-blooded sibling • She's a bitch too *Terdeo = Theo, ML I’m loving the story so far. I like that the MC isn’t forgiving. She is kind-hearted but she can also be ruthless. She wants to trample her family for killing her in the past life. She wants Terdeo to make her ex-lover who is a knight suffer while training because Terdeo leads the imperial knights. (Of course, Terdeo loves the idea.) She didn’t care about Islet’s mother and stepfather being tortured. She called the one who poisoned her “motherf*****”. Sometimes, she freezes when the crazy princess is near but she never backs down. She once “accidentally” slips her hand while giving the princess a plate of apple pie which then fell on the princess’s dress. And when the princess sends her an invitation, she requests for it to be burned immediately. Terdeo is also humanized in the story. He isn’t ruthless as the rumours say. He isn’t a crazy war monger. He dislikes war and he has been through a lot. He also knows that the emperor is a freaking attention seeking bastard, and hates the princess to the core. As of now, he tells MC everything. He doesn’t keep a secret from her. He is also sweet to her, and is now showing his possessive side. Moreover, the plot is going gradually well. There are mysteries that need answered. Why is the crazy fourth princess not sickly? Why does she act differently? She also once said that MC seems to have forgotten her? And why is MC immune to the curse? Is it connected to the first grand duke? Things like that. - Spoiler: FL's death (from user potatohunn) Her first death was because of her husband, Siph, who’s actually in a relationship with her stepsister, Reina, and schemed to kill her for inheritance. Then she came back to life right after she received her inheritance and before she marries Siph. Her second death was so sudden when she was talking with Theo about her proposal. Theo got a small cut and as a result, it got mixed to the cookie that Sasha was eating. Then, she died and came back to life when Theo is already planning to bury her. Of course, knowing that they can kill a person with just their blood, Theo didn’t expected Sasha to be alive after she ingest his blood. To confirm it, he fed her his blood. Thus, it became her third death and resurrected again. - Spoiler: Cersia's childhood (from user potaohunn) Sercia told Sasha her childhood story. When she was young, she lived in a warehouse deprived of sunlight. Her mother was afraid of her children, probably because of the curse. They met Princess Dodolea, the 4th princess that seems to be obsessed with Theo. There are actually rumors that he never once touched his first wife. So in their wedding night, she didn’t expected him to come. He also told her that during their contract, they will sleep in the same room to display their relationship so that after their divorce and when the emperor pressures him to marry the princess, he can reason that he misses Sasha. - So when they woke up, they laid close to each other so the maids can misunderstand that they spent their first night. But the first one who get into their room wasn’t a maid, but the nine-year-old Selphius. He was so shocked on what he saw but the butler is to the rescue, he offered milk with honey to Selphius before slyly winking at Sasha and then dragging Selphius out of the scene. So yeah, they really misunderstood what happened. - When they were eating breakfast, there was a conflict between Theo and Selphius. Selphius is still young and needs a guardian so he wanted to stay in their residence, but Theo is opposed to it and wants to send him in a countryside villa again. Theo was rumored to be a barbarian because he sent Selphius away but the truth is he was thinking about Selphius. He’s young so he has the most poisonous blood, he needs the fresh environment of the villa and there are also fewer people. - Selphius threw a tantrum and headed to his room and hurt himself. Sasha followed right after and treated his wound. Selphius is quite hostile at her, defense mechanism perhaps. Then when she’s trying to calm herself by drinking the cold water that Selphius previously drunk, she lost consciousness again because the water was mixed with blood from the bruise in Selphius’ lips. When she woke up, she heard Selphius crying and saying that he will dig a pit and bury her while he’s holding a shovel covered in dirt. - Selphius was bewildered when he found out that their curse doesn’t work on her to the point that he’s asking her if she’s a human. Theo reprimanded Selphius not to be careless and eagerly decided to send him in the villa but Sasha interfered, in the ednd, Theo gave in and let Selphi to stay in the residence. - Reina and Sasha’s stepmother visited the grand duchy and they keep on pressing her with Siph and their so-called sincere familial love, but she’s emphasizing their mistakes. The shameless Reina even defending Siph, saying that he was too pitiful and asking Sasha to use her power to let him get into the imperial knights since her husband, the grand duke is the evaluator. Selphius overheard their conversation and arrogantly interfered. He’s the heir of the duchy of course, they can’t look down on him. They were forced to apologize to Sasha before leaving. Selphi, being reliable, said that if Sasha encountered her family again, she should tell him and he will deal with them. - There’s a newspaper that was supposed to be published, it was malicious as it talks about how Sasha abandoned her commoner lover and chose the wealthy and powerful Grand Duke instead. But Theo already handled that. Next morning, the perpetrator seems really eager to publish the news so it still came out to the public through a cheap paper. - The Grand Duchy don’t usually hire that much servants, but Theo decided to hire a lady-in-waiting for Sasha, whose name is Rebecca. She looks bubbly and talkative. - Sercia visited Sasha and told her about the newspaper, she also assured her because she already tortured the distributor but she still haven’t found who the real culprit is. That aside, they had a tea together and Sasha invited her to come again. Sercia was shocked because usually, people don’t want to invite her again. It makes her like Sasha more. Sercia asked her why isn’t she scared of them, because even her, killed her own husband and child. Sasha comforted her and even told her that she’s pretty when she smiles, which once said by her husband and child. - Sercia is a businesswoman, she has lots of successful businesses so no one can touch her easily. She gave a ring to Sasha, in order to protect her. If she show that ring to others, they won’t be able to touch her easily because the ring means she’s under Sercia’s protection. - Recently, the empire just won a war and the credits was taken by the Crown Prince and the Grand Duke, Theo. In commemoration, their statue was built in the plaza, but there’s someone who has ill-intention towards Theo and intentionally broke his statue. Sasha was the one who has seen it and she decided to catch the culprit. - Selphius is already staying in the capital so Theo decided to enroll him in the academy. Sasha is picking up Selphi when she was caught by the noble wives. She go along with them and chatter a bit, then she found out that Princess Dodolea is there too. She’s going to pick up her younger sister, the 7th Princess who the Emperor is pushing to Theo in her past life. - Princess Dodolea invited Sasha in her palace in front of the noble wives so she can’t directly refuse. She made excuses but Princess Dodolea is very persistent. Then the super hero Selphi came to the rescue again. He asked Sasha if she was okay. Princess Dodolea refutes that he makes her seems like she’s harassing Sasha, but Selphi answered that the Grand Duchess is the one he is asking, not the Princess. They were about to go home but this bitch interfered again, forcing Selphi to go back first and Sasha to stay longer, but Selphi is firm. The princess made play, saying that she envies Sasha for being taken care of as a flower in a greenhouse. Then Selphi emphasized that it is just because Sasha is ‘precious’ to them that distorted Princess Dodolea’s face. Theo came and hid Sasha and Selphi behind his back, which relieves Sasha. So the picture was he looks like he’s protecting them from the Princess. He even escorted Sasha that shocked the noble wives since according to rumors, he’s cold-blooded and indifferent since he never once paid attention to his first wife. - In the carriage, Theo asked Sasha if he can burn the invitation, no one will know if he did anyways. He also told her that if she encounters anything like this again, she must tell him. Sasha realized that he’s very different from the rumors. The day after, a new statue of Theo was built, no one has broken it since they tighten the security. - When they were eating, Sasha suddenly collapsed. At first, they thought it was their blood but it turns out that she was poisoned. The doctor can’t heal her so they called the uncle, Phineas, to check on her. Theo, Selphi, and Sercia always sends letters to him and they often talk about Sasha. Although knowing that those three are so fond of Sasha, he was still shocked to see Theo and Selphi going wild when she collapsed. In the end, they found out that it was the kitchen assistant who tried to poison them, but he already ran away, the assistant has an ill-intention towards Theo but both Theo and Selphi are immune to poison so only Sasha was affected. - When Sasha is finally recovering, another headache came up. Princess Dodolea sent another invitation to Sasha. When the butler delivered her the invitation, she told him to burn it just like Theo did but the butler says an invitation from the imperial family cannot be burned easily. Then she told him to reason that it got lost on the way, but the butler says it was handed to him personally by a knight under Princess Dodolea’s command. When Theo knew about it, he offered that he will just burn it by himself. - Spoiler: Chaper 19 and the suspicious second guy (2nd ML) (from users Hypothon and Malacat) Credits to @Malacat for the spoilers on discord Ch.19 and morbidly funny character introduction (new guy): The secondary ML whose suspicious AF shows up lying down passed out in the middle of the very narrow road. Since the area is a super guarded closed off area no one should even be their. MC points out that as well as people have been known to fake being unchous in the road to stop carts then use that time to attack them. Then tells then it'd be safer just to run them over and call the guards since they couldn't turn around or get help. Coach driver winds up pulling the guy off the road. Right afterwards guy waks up and sees MC watching, and declared his love for his life savior for saving him when he fainted. MC straight denies that, the coach is his savior, she would have run his ass over. Guy ignores this and continues to declare his love. More on 2nd guy: (the blonde guy = Adeus Fortune) Actually declared straight to MC and ML that he wants to be her lover. he didn't mind being the side guy since it's normal for high society. More on 2 guy. After he tried to get closer with super || info MC denied him a spot. Told him no way ever but he could be ML's friend. Important info was MC bitch ass family doing their shit again. Accusing her of murdering her father, then spreading rumors about her being a greedy climber. Tossing their debt riddel asses out abandoning FAMILY (so tagic) prety much admit they killed father in monolague. Trying real hard to get the full inheritence. (There's still a possibility for him to be battle crazy. When MC and ML were attacked at a parade to honor the king he stepped in quickly to assist. he's pretty skilled with fighting.) Ok great info for ya'll to laugh at. Dick wadd EX, manages to worm his way back into the imperial knights training. But the dumb ass actually didn't realize the the ML was the head of the imperial knight. ML gets to beat down on his ass regularly in the guise of training. Gotta squeeze over chapters 40-41. MC finds out kid is being harrased at school. Little jerks are actually bragging at a charity fund raiser in their own house. MC goes full momma bear on them. Pours a glass of ice water on one of their heads. Loudly perclaims him her SON and how dare they. Kids start acting like she's beating them to death. (GOD she wants to) One of the kids dad gabs MC just in time for ML to come out. needless to say guys fingser are lucky to be still atached. Beautifull double brutal beatdown and threatening. (and flirting) Even straight up warned everyone their if any ill words leaked out they would pay with their lives and any newpaper would be burnt to the ground. The extended family is helped obsses over her by the Uncle who is the family doctor. He very quickly spreads the word that MC is immune to their poison. The whole lot of them have a bad history of being treated as monsters and|or loosing loved ones due to the curse. A lot of them have lost all hope and he spreads word of her like a beacon of hope. Then they show up to meet her, she finds out about them, and they get a specialized dose of love from her. She smacks down those sad backstories as fast as she can. No chance for lingering depression around her. Like when ML gets depressed right after 2nd guy shows up she imediatly talks to him about it. She lets him let it all out in his own depressive monolague then she clearly tells him HELL NO, she ain't no cheating hoe even if it's a contract. Good thing he didn’t speculate on his own and he straightforwardly asked her. Terdeo was quite happy when he found out that they’re not in that kind of relationship and Sasha has no intention of meeting someone during their contract. • Spoiler: Terdeo and Sasha spend the night together (a misunderstanding though) Sasha and Terdeo enjoyed the first day of the festival and roam around too much. As a result, her body was sore and her back hurts and that’s the start of the misunderstanding. When she complained that her back hurts, the maids immediately came into conclusion that Terdeo and Sasha was very fierce last night. Sasha tried to clear up the misunderstanding but the maids are too happy to buy her reasoning. • Spoiler: Culprit of Sasha’s poisoning Recently, Terdeo found a malicious newspaper that is supposed to be published that contains ill-intention towards their marriage. Stating that Sasha abandoned her commoner lover and chose the power of the Grand Duke. Terdeo pulled some strings so it hasn’t been published on the original channel but the perpetrator is eager so they distributed it using cheap paper instead. After that, Sasha was poisoned after eating their meal. At first they thought that was because of their blood but it turns out that it isn’t the reason. It turns out that they were rebels who lost their families during the war. That’s the fuel of their anger towards the Grand Duchy. • Spoiler: Einhard Orphe Lapileon He’s the first owner of the Grand Duchy. He was actually a normal knight that was promoted to general and later on received the land and the title of Grand Duke because of his achievements. When Sasha first saw his portrait, she was shocked because he resembles Terdeo so much. Also, she somehow felt familiarity with the person on the portrait. • Spoiler: Dodolea’s invitation So this thing is really annoying. She kept on sending invitations to Sasha. It’s really creepy. When Sasha kept on refusing the invitation, Dodolea personally came in the duchy. They ate snack together while exchanging sharp words. Sasha want Dodolea to leave as fast as possible but instead, she kept on provoking Sasha. Until she already gets on Sasha’s nerves and she ‘accidentally’ pour a teacup on Dodolea’s dress. Then the psychopath Dodolea trampled her pie that was fallen in the floor. The way she trampled the pie brought goosebumps to Sasha. A little later, Terdeo came to the rescue. Terdeo thought Sasha was injured because of the red filling from the apple pie, then Dodolea interfered that she was the one stained by the pie. As expected, Terdeo didn’t pay attention to her and instead, he threatened her not to approach Sasha anymore. • Spoiler: Dodolea’s maid The another nuisance, Reina, Sasha’s stepsister, actually went to Dodolea and became her maid. When Reina found out that Dodolea wants to marry Terdeo, Reina offered that she will help Dodolea. In return, she will let Sif into the Imperial Knights. • Spoiler: Commotion during the procession Before the procession starts, Reina purposely approached Sasha and seems like she’s showing off her. She even mentioned that Sif is going to be an Imperial Knight soon and if she regrets throwing him away. Of course, Sasha said no. She even emphasized that there’s no reason to regret throwing a garbage and her husband is the General, Sif is still under him. Then during the procession, rebels attacked them and somehow blaming Terdeo for the war. Adeus came and helped them. All Imperial Knights protected the Imperial family and no one left to protect Sasha aside from Terdeo and Adeus. Then Terdeo reprimanded the knights publicly. The emperor interfered because the knights were the symbol of the Royal’s power but Terdeo is obviously dissatisfied. The emperor has a disgusting attitude, just like Dodolea. No wonder Dodolea is the Emperor’s favored child. Terdeo left the procession to take the trembling Sasha home. The emperor tried to call him but he intentionally ignored him. • Spoiler: Meeting Islet and Madam Gloria When they got home, a small voice suddenly uttered the word ‘fairy’. It turns out that it was Islet, and the fairy she was referring to was Sasha. Terdeo mentioned that Islet is a part of the family and living with her maternal side. So they’re paying generous child support but Sasha noticed that there was nothing luxury on Islet. She doesn’t look like she’s being taken care off. While Sasha is interacting with her, Islet showed sign of being abused. She has wounds on her body and with just a small mistake, she’s already starting to apologize and tremble in fear.
