She’s an artist who breathes life into a painting and creates a miracle. The fl grew up very lonely, and no one in her family really cared about her. So in their country they are blessed with art, and outstanding artists that are blessed by the god of art and have the ability to work miracles through art, but they are deprived of something in exchange for miracles, and they create life by breathing life into paintings. They can cause miracles, but they are diagnosed with a life-consuming art disease, which is a very rare case, and that they can live for up to a year. So the Fl is blessed with art, that is why she will die after a year !!! ------ - Spoiler: ML (from user Ahmya) The ML is FL’s fiancee is skilled at swordmanship. So the FL offered to break the marriage if she let her stay in the duke's residence for 10 months without any contact from the south to the north. Though the Ml didn’t like it, he accepted the offer. ------ - Spoiler: Ending (from user the Legendary Frog) I heard that sadly she will die in the end, but they'll have a child.. (And if my memory serves me right, it was a girl) They also said this is a very good story but with a very heart-breaking ending ㅠㅠ ------ - Spoiler: More about FL's death (from user Unique_Xero) The special after story starts off with the daughter's 12th birthday. Seren (?? 세렌 is that how you spell her name in english? ANYWAYS) asked Milion (the ML) to always hold her birthday party before or after her birthday so she can spend time with her mom on her birthday. The male lead didn't quite understand what she meant by that but he still did as she wished. After Karina's passing Milion makes an 'all soul day' where people mourn the death of passed loved ones. Milion and Seren get in Karina's bed (THEY KEPT HER BED) and Seren started reading the birthday letter Karina left for her. Karina asked many things in her letter "How are you doing in the academy? Have you made friends? Are you healthy? Are you getting along with your dad?" and more... As Seren reads more and more she gets to the end of the letter and says "I miss mom" and our ml says "me too..". Seren colors in the drawing Karina left for her and a drawing of a magic beast comes alive and starts hopping on Seren's hand. Milion then tucks Seren into bed. Milion decides to only read the letters Karina left for him on his birthday and Seren's birthday. In the letter Karina says "I left a present for you, I hid in under our bed" Milion quickly runs and puts his hand under the bed and grabs a box. Seren wakes up from the ruckus and sees that Milion is holding a box. Milion replies "it's a gift from Karina". Seren gets really excited. Inside the box was a recording jewel. It's a jewel you can record your voice into. Milion and Seren pour their magic in the jewel and they start to hear Karina's voice. Karina starts to speak but Milion was disappointed that it's just a recording but he then realizes it's not a recording... SO BASICALLY Karina cursed out the art god the moment she met him after she passed away. The gods gave Karina a chance to speak to her family one last time. ------ - Spoiler: About recording (from user Unique_Xero) The dead aren't supposed to mingle with the people who are alive so Karina had to pretend everything was a pre-recording. ------ - Spoiler: The IF story (from user Unique_Xero) The author made an IF story. That Milion and Karina both went back in time with their memories intact. Milion immediately rode a horse to the count's estate. He begged and begged as he rode the horse that it wasn't too late. So that Karina can live longer this time. When he arrived at the count's estate he sees the count's family having dinner but Karina wasn't there. He insulted the count's family for neglecting their daughter and immediately went to Karina's room. He knocked many times and there was no replies. The only time Karina who is sensitive to sound doesn't reply is when she's drawing. He opens the door without permission and sees Karina who is sketching. Karina soon notices Milion. Milion immediately asks her to live with him in the north. Karina immediately agreed to his sudden suggestion. (There was some minor drama with Karina getting kidnapped to another kingdom but that's unimportant). After Milion rescues Karina he and Karina starts talking for a long time. They promised to stay by each other's side till they both die from old age. ------ - Spoiler: Modern IF story (from user Unique_Xero) After Karina's death and after Milion finishes his Journey... They're both reborn on earth. Karina is a college art student and Milion is a rich man. They have some of their past life memory but not all. They just happily live their life though it's noted Milion looks old for his age LMAOO. Last chapter of the special after story is just them vowing to have children together and stay together happily. ------ - Spoiler: About the parents in the regular after story (from user Unique_Xero) Actually they thought Karina died from her illness. So the count's family got "depressed" because Karina died and so the count, countess and the twins never left the estate since the day Karina "died". But in reality Karina was alive, Karina and Milion decided to kill 'the count's daughter, Karina'. When the count's oldest son found out that Karina is alive and one of the most popular artist he tells the count and says "Let's go see Karina." However the count disagrees and says "I'm happy she's alive but us going to see her will just ruin her happiness." He understands that his existence hurts Karina and decides to not to see her at all. (BTW THE OLDEST SON, KARINA'S OLDER BROTHER HAS FUCKING NO REMORSE WHAT SO EVER) ------ - Spoiler: The count (from user Unique_Xero) Karina says she forgives the count and the family but Milion doesn't. Count doesn't try to meet Seren due to the guilt of how much he hurt Karina. Even if the count did want to meet Seren, Milion would not allow it. Since the reason his beloved Karina died is due to the neglect of the count. ------ - Spoiler: Chapter 13-14 manhwa (from user Fayfay) The big bro asked the dad if they could involved the soldier to search Karina. The trash said that it will spread the rumor about their family bla bla bla. After the bro left, trash recalled when Karina said that 'I thought that you (parents) forget about my room since you've never been in here for years'. The sick lil sis' room was located near the stair. The older bro got the room next to it to make it easier for him to do his activities. The lil bro got the next room because he was the youngest. Then karina get the farthest room. The trash knew that Karina like one of the siblings room and scared to place in farthest room, but he told her that she was the old sis, so she should understand. He went to Karina room. He found Karina's drawing. One of them was a family picture but without Karina in it. The mom came in and asked him, why he was here. She said that she worried about Karina and the sick young sister at the same time. She asked him whether they could sent some letter to noble outside the capital too, and maybe to the North where Karina's fiance is. But the trash said that with a little money and Karina's timid personality she would not go that far. He said that he would take care of it and sent letters to the nobles in the capital. ------ - Spoiler: Around Chapter 15 (from user Fayfay) Million is the best ML Its okay to cry This is start around ch 15 of the manhwa. Million said that he knew Karina disease. Then Karina told him story about the unfairness in her family. M: Will it be a disaster if they hold your birthday? Did you hurt your lil bro when he took your purse? K: No M: I see nothing wrong with you. Dont easily said im sorry or its okay, because if you constantly said those words, people will think of you lightly. And I see some problem here when you told me your story but you didnt cry once. Its okay to cry, just let it all out. Then Karina cried while Million lent her his shoulder.(aw) After she done crying, she told him to call her Karina or Lina. It was obvious that in this chapter Million already had feeling for our FL. Around chapter 17, ML asked her to go out with him and fullfil her bucket lists. Sorry if my english is lacking. Please take this with a grain of salt ------ - Spoiler: From the reviews (from user Ahmya) Not 100% accurate! When the ML suspects the FL had the art disease, he calls his friend Ferriel for treatment. Millian(ML) and Ferreal, tried to extend Karina's lifespan by even one day. Eventually, it was only increased by 5 years :'( Million gave up the habit of working with everything to spend a little bit longer with Karina.... One day, a pseudo-religion that threatened the imperial power appeared, but some of the northern parts support pseudo-religion... After the emperor has summoned all the nobles... Regardless of status, orders are issued to punish those who support pseudo-religion. In the process, the pseudo-priest and the prince fell in love with Serenus' (The FL’s dauhter)power and Karina's appearance. They were trying to kidnap Karina and Serenus in an agreement with each other... FL gave up her life and works miracles to protect Serenus. Million noticed and ran, but it's already a step late. Karina's life span was severely shortened, and Milian, angry with it, tortured and killed the prince and the pseudo-religious leader who said that he was a prince and could not be punished at once. Aristocrats who participated in the kidnapping of Karina and Serenus and who cooperated were slaughtered , including those who supported the cult. The emperor found out and was angry to learn that his son was tortured and died. The emperor had already issued a demeanor that no one should be of any kind, and he couldn't say anything, trembling at the power and ruthlessness of Million. After that, Karina passed away as if to sleep at the end of her life. Million's feelings were felt utterly, and tears were drawn until the end.(WTF!!) If their parents were careful to care for and love their child from a young age, they wouldn't have to worry about the rest of the art disease. Fl’s father found out about the disease, but he doesn’t apologize because of his pride.... ------ - Spoiler: Revived (from usere Ahmya) FL was revived, Karina and Million have a beautiful daughter and have a happy time. However, with the power of the dragon's power exhausted, Karina's heart soon stopped... She dies leaving only her young daughter and Million who do not know death yet. ------ - Spoiler: additional spoiler, forgot to put this (from user Ahmya) the count's doctor's Nocturne. He was Karina's first love, but Nocturne loved Abelia and only Abelia. In the past, Carina passed out for half a day because of Abelia's actions. Because of the importance of Gulf, Karina became an unrecognized older sister who did not go to her sick younger sister because of Nocturne(wat does that even mean...??). In the latter part of the story, even though Karina knew that she could only live for five years with the power of the dragon, she thought about stealing the power of the dragon and taking it to Abelia. Well, this is confusing... I hope there’s someone who read the novel and could give us some spoilers... ------ - Spoiler: Info about some of the characters (from user Ahmya) The names were MTLed btw! A lot of reviewers said that they regretted reading this novel..... CAUSE THE ENDING WAS SO SAD THAT TEARS WERE COMING OUT OF THEIR EYES.....
