kamishiro and sena do not get along, but the nature of their relationship changes after kamishiro goes into heat with only sena to help him. obligatory dubcon bc of the omegaverse setting, but the art is great and i liked the enemies to lovers dynamic in the first story

a look into the daily lives of shima's family, and how her fathers (former delinquents) aoi and akane got together. this was fucking adorable and the art was amazing, loved shima, the slice of life bits and the rivals to lovers trope. the only qualm I really have is how the two guys who sexually harassed aoi (the one from high school and the one from college) got off, basically scott free with no serious repercussion like you shoulda just let akane beat the shit outta them.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THE COVER ART, but its such silly stupid bullshittery. thought it was pretty funny aside from the sexual assault double standards (omegas not being capable of sa?? total bs). love the main pairs dynamic but the story shoulda ended at ch6. hopefully well see a baby, though.

omega viligante shishio falls in love with the yakuza heir masami. thinking abt this got me kinda pissed, but everything was right there: sick character designs, interesting relationship dynamic and a lot of potential for something gritty and cool, but this story was just a confusing jumble of occurrences w useless side characters that end with a brother reveal (and then a NOT brother reveal at the end, wtf??).

yuka finds out hes an omega and is claimed by his childhood friend kaoru. taiga only wants to bond with his fated pair, but rethinks his choices when he confronts his feelings for his omega roommate, rin. feel like this is a very realistic, the model of what abo should be. the first couple was cute while the second was harder to stomach, as taiga was extremely unlikable throughout. rin was my favorite character, i felt a lot of sympathy for him but am happy this is ultimately a happy ending. the sa was really hard to get through, though.

alpha and omega detective partners idou and kitajouji are bonded for convenience, and investigate a case on illegally distributed omega drugs. i enjoyed this! i wish there was more focus on the crime fighting aspect of the job, but i understand the antagonists intentions with the drug. i liked how the romance was gradual and kitakouji being the best alpha to ever exist heightened the experience.

yoshihisa has been dating his childhood friend takeshi for years, but becomes uncertain as to whether the alpha wants to permanently pair with him or not. i like the idea of rejecting fated pairs for true love but im sorry, this was soo boringggg. 1st story was decently cute while the 2nd gave me no interest, the only plus is the cute twins at the end. very typical abo story.

to avoid an arranged marriage, shoma enlists stranger kanata to become his fake lover. i feel like so much happened here. 1) why did the kanata have to rape shoma after he took him in? 2) why were there no repercussions for emika after she successfully raped shoma? 3) why did they have to do that pregnancy jumpscare thing? i think this manga was pretty basic in the abo sphere, though i will admit i appreciated the realistic rape aftermath here. the ending was cute and i liked the two sorting their lives out but the rape in this was very difficult to get through.

i liked this, though i do feel like this wasnt fleshed out nearly enough within 5 chapters. it had all of the right story beats but i feel like the romance didnt have an adequate chance to develop. other than that, i loved the art, the character designs (THE TATTOOS UGHH) and how painfully respectful the ml was.

ngl this might be one of my favorite found family abo/bl with kids, something about it is so overly charming, i loved the daughter in this, she was so cute and i feel like the family dynamics worked really well here. there is that sense of cliche and suspended realism, but this one stood out to me for some reason. i heard there are two more volumes untranslated and i am clawing at the walls waiting for them to upload here.
