I hate this so much. This is just Hogu Hagyeongsu 2.0. The story drags on way too much, and even still it doesn't manage to get me invested in any one of the characters. The story, to put it shortly, is just illogical as fuck and the storytelling sucks ass (and dick, huehue). The motivations for any caharacters are not made clear and because of that it's hard so sympathise even with the "victim", Lee Geon. Everything just happens so that the author could draw it in the story, no other reason. Also the "comedic" little bits in the story (like a funny face, or that one character liking food way too much) just seem misplaced because of the overall tone of the story (y'know, rape and such). (Not gonna get too much into detail with the plot, since even a blind donkey could understand how moronic it is after reading only a few chapters.) Oh, and the art sucks major balls, too! The art style isn't bad, per se, but the countless little disrepancies just rustle my jimmies so bad. WHERE THE FUCK ARE THEY LOOKING! EVERYONE IS CROSS-EYED! It's like the artist hasn't seen a human face in decades. The emotion, that is supposedly depicted on their faces, just looks fake and instead of delivering the message makes me question "Why couldn't you just draw it again?". (I don't usually complain about art if the story is good and followable, but it just really pokes my eye and irritates it.) Overall, the whole manhwa gives me the impression that the author just had an idea for the story but no real plan on how to make it seem believable for the reader. I guess the only kind of people who could like this shit are the ones who've read stories like this and gotten desensitised to the stupidity of the plot and don't care for understandable explanations for anything. Dropped after ch. 17. Not gonna wait for the story to get "good", because it already missed its chance.
