The story was VERY interesting, I wish we would have seen the first life instead of being just told about it. The first life was dark & awful, and the second life was soooo different. I really enjoyed the magic system, the empire system, and I did enjoy this couple. One thing I was a bit upset about, was how MC's feelings changed, maybe a little to quick. But the entire story felt rushed. Like I said, a lot of telling, less showing, but still interesting.
