I love this author. Her heroes make you angry, sad, make you laugh but definitely don't leave you indifferent. Also, the end is always realistic, you believe it. That what I love the most. Love it and recommend for reading.

I love how the main characters change and grow through the manga. It's awesome. Adore this author!

I read this manga many years ago, so I know the main line. However, while rereading, I notice many things that I didn't pay attention to when I was much younger. I'm still only on the episode when Nana discovers her pregnancy, but I have something to say. I don't know why so many people hate Takumi. Well, I'm a little bit a liar here because I was angry with him previously myself, never the less how he behaved at that moment was my favourite before and it didn't change even now. He loves Nana in his own way and even if he wants to keep her to himself absolutely egoistically I respect him for his position in that situation. Contrarily, Nobou couldn't bring himself to be a support for Nana and that's understandable, as he knows that the child is not his, anyway I can't accept him this way. I cannot stop thinking if by some mysterious means I were in Hachi position I also would choose Takumi over Nobou. I'm aware that I may change my mind till the end of the manga, but that's what I think now.

I heard about it many ears ago but the title put me off. However, I'm happy that I decided to read it at last. It's very sad and very cry-able =) But great, really great.

Story about stereotypes and how expectations of others might break a person. A very deep thing. Definitely something to think about
