Ch 29 reveal Ch 50ish house hogan is a very rich merchant family, even nobles dislike them and their stuck up attitudes. Main and guy discovered an illegal fighting ring that cost many ppl's lives. But bc the house is very powerful, they bribed ppl and tried to fire the detectives involved. Main guy took the fall to prevent more damage to their detective group. Now main and guy live in different city while guy gets hired by his royal cousin to be an underground/undercover detective and report only to the cousin in instances and crimes. The royal related detective work is mostly for magic related crimes bc they need to keep it quiet when persecuted to not scare the public. Main met a kid who was at the illegal fighting ring and saved him, he offered his service in turn for room and board. Main teaches him manners and reading and writing, guy is a bit jealous but doesnt realize that his actions is bc of jealousy. Still not sure about main's background. But the guy's adoptive mom sees main's appearance to remind her of another noble from 20 yrs ago who was also a candidate for her now husband. But that noble ran away to elope with a painter. The same story that is related to the main, but main and the mom have not connected the dots (if only main had the locket on her, it has the mom's pic in it) Wait for ch 70

. On ch 57 Ch 49-51 main and his coworkers recovered the missing book. How main's original owner gave the book to the other man remains a mystery. But the main was also a beyonder and descendent of a secret organization that claims they own the book. Main's org will hold onto the book and have their headquarters at the cathedral to analyze it and determine if it is safe or an ancient relic to be secured Ch 30 when citizens join and later want to become a beyonder, they must take a low lvl potion to get abilities so it can aid them in missions in the long run. Once u advance in missions and skills, u may take more advanced potions but sometimes someone may not be ready and taking potions then would lead to side effects or death Ch 22 main joins the group and learns of why some beyonders lose control so there aren't as many beyonders in their group Ch 19 recap, some mysteries of suicides but no evidence the ppl were suicidal. Plus a missing book is in question. Main was questioned and some ppl organization called the beyonders are a hidden group in the police force and within citizens that solve mysteries that have to do with spiritual powers. The investigator says no one should know unless they join the beyonders bc if ppl knew there are spiritual powers, it would cause chaos and confusion and malicious ppl using it for bad. Main was asked to join once they found he was telling the truth he didnt know anything since he had transmigrated from a different world

. Main fell in love to his sister's boyfriend but both ended up getting scammed by the guy and he took their money. Main goes to find him since the police can't investigate with little evidence and photos of the guy. Main hoped to see if they had something together Not much smut Very plot focused and ending was sweet and they do end up together when the guy did get arrested when he gave up the scams. Main waited for him to get out and tried to conclude their relationship for closure but he still loved him. He did go back and confess he still loved him and even supported him when the ex scammer did get injured due to his past scam victim. He knew he deserved it but main still stayed with him bc he knew the guy who was always alludes the police and would never get caught just tried to live normally after jail time
