[spoilers exist beyond this point] Ugh. I actually liked the concept of the story, but Christ the escalation was too quick for my taste. Especially if the uke perceived himself as someone who wouldnt have allowed himself to easily be influenced by his red string to go to the length to even cut it. He didn't look into Obata's eyes while cutting off the string but cowardly looked away as he cut it. So Im not surprised that their string simply reconnected because he decided to give into him and confess. He's been influenced by the red sting ever since he discovered Obata was his soulmate and everything he has said has been all counter productive to his original homophobic reason for not accepting Obata as his soulmate. Aha, i dont know why Im a bit annoyed at this when theres a good amount of yaoi manga that has this similar pacing. But I guess I can't ask for realistic development when this is just limited to a couple chapters. Otherwise, it's an enjoyable read to pass the time.
