Read til 179.2 I finally read it after so long. Because I keep hearing about it, I avoided it since I was sick of it. Now that that's died down, at least I see less comments about it, I finally read it and damn hell it's amazing! The plot, the action, I almost thought it'd take the game route til the end but I didnt expect there would be a ploy to it. Kudos for weaving an original story with game elements as inspiration Update: I finished the story and it was great. I thought the game element would be present throughout but unexpectedly, there was a twist. It's a first for me. The only con I'd give is I suppose the romantic subplot(?) I just find it strange if not put off since I didn't think MC would be romantically interested on anyone then all of a sudden he went on a date with the girl with a sensitive nose and especially the last chapter, I couldn't remember any type of chemistry that makes them an item so I interpreted it as someone he recognized. This is just a matter of personal preference though. Other than that, I'd still give it 5 stars since I enjoy the action, the wholesomeness with his shadow soldiers and his family, and how OP he is XD Special mention to that statue that is the root of nightmares for some. Last read ch 124 SPOILERS 8: ch 124. The dream witch and another outer god? I must say, I like how the characters are drawn, especially the males xD so handsome haha 7: ch 117. Appearance of the publisher. Min Ho(?) really looks like a mix of Driver (I forgot the manhwa) and the one from demon slayer (his hair xD). The preview of Taurus descent. 6: ch. 110. End of season 2 Aww, mamajack and Elise’s quest is fitting for them. At least they’re happily together. 5: ch 100. It was previously confirmed that Josip likes MC but MC is, in his words, finding it hard to respond but won’t abandon her at least. What’s surprising is even the dream witch is jealous? Hesitant? It could be out of some possessive desire but I won’t ignore the possibility of it being romantic. If it’s the latter, I might drop ;; 4: ch 61 Azazel and co. I went back to see our MC’s future snippet of becoming Demon of Madness 3: ch 89 Jisoo admits she likes him, he’s aware of it, too. Weirdly enough, I didn’t find it distasteful. Perhaps because they didn’t drag it out for long 2: ch 78 Han Jisoo gave me yandere vibes since her power was revealed and this chapter just confirms it ;;; (mimicking the Korean text of sweat xD ) It’s just a snippet though. It won’t ruin the flow of the story, which I like very much. Also, the demon of lust looks ethereal! He’s handsome for sure but my eyes were drawn to his eyeshadow. That must be the secret haha 1: Ch 51 end of season 1 When I see a manhua/manhwa I’m interested in, particularly the action types, Worst expectation I had was the underutilization/bad execution/ unnecessary appearance of characters like such other works (notoriously and unfortunately the females and romance). BUT THIS! In an objective pov, there’s no indication of the negative expectations I mentioned above! As a reader, I’m enjoying this.

I saw a recap on this and got me interested. I really hope this isn't harem. Based on the recap I saw, I find the story intriguing. It's not something new but I'm interested on how it goes.

Last read ch 88 It’s quite amazing! I was a bit apprehensive as there was a harem tag but it’s insignificant; you could overlook it, just a crush or a gag but it’s fine xD This comes from someone who’s turned off/annoyed with harem and romance in this type of genres. The romance aspect of this type of genre may ruin the reading experience for me at times but in this work, I actually like the pursuit of Director Oh xD what can I say, I don’t feel like it’s forced and it has its natural pace which doesn’t ruin the experience for me at least. The death flashback when he was in the throne reminded of the war flashback in solo leveling with the angels. Hmm…I guess this is the format now? Or what you’d usually see in this type of works but nonetheless, I enjoyed reading it
