here for some actually talking abt the story
I don't think this seemed as rushed tbh, it seemed like when they were in middle (or high but they said middle) school they already kinda had a thing for eachother? like aoto literally said he thought take was cute while he was teasing him, almost as if take wanted to be teased himself. meaning that the bullying seemed almost flirty, like when kids bully their crush. I think take probably forgot about aoto bc he was so busy with taking care of kota that he didn't have a lot of time to think for himself, but when he met aoto again he remembered him almost immediately which kinda shows that he like thought about him a lot? idk I'm just kinda speculating. I also think this was meant to be a one shot, so the mangaka rushed their relationship a little, considering it says *end* in the first chapter
also I really like how when take was upset about Kota calling aoto papa instead of him, they didn't make take seem unlikable bc its understandable why he's upset, but even after getting upset he felt bad for shouting and ended up ACTUALLY properly apologizing to aoto unlike some other stories I've read where they never apologize to eachother. idk man I just really love this story its so cute, one of my all time favorites
