it's wasted potential, he's a dragon! he could take so many shapes and forms and yet he still is just a human.
also, they went really deep with the whole "raising your lover" arc, they could've just mentioned that they met in past lives and top is always looking for him....but no. its all "look at me I'm raising this child, I'm feeding this child, I'm caring for the sick child" and then has sex with said child after he grows up
