Spoiler: No one seems to have noticed that Li Lei didn't rape her that night, there was very specifically a scene showing a spotless bed, sexually assault yes, but that may have been him confusing what she was saying as consent (I am hoping). He stopped once she said Peiheng, and he seems to have realized that there was something wrong with her. He should not have lied to her when he found out that she couldn't remember, but I think his stupid logic was to try to keep her. He does show growth in how he acted, after she spoke to him. He freed her but still tried to show that he cared by making sure she is eating well. They show promise as a good couple, since they both show growth. She is learning how to love and respect herself, and he is learning the same. Too bad that the author seems to have dropped it. I was looking forward to their growth together.
Also, Peiheng sucks. He should castrate himself.
