NOOO that was it???? What about their marriage?? Their kids??? I want to see it!!!! Oh well they have a happy ending in the side stories (though IMO it shouldn't be called side stories cuz it's just a continuation of the main story) yk when I first read clauden and ruan meeting and clauden was beat up so badly I was so devastated and then they showed us how traumatic it was for him and seeing ruan try so hard to win him back even through some very questionable means I felt conflicted but after reading the after stories I think I'm fine now lol. Also I don't get the dad and brother hate I mean yeah sure The dad is the reason that ruin had to spend 12 years abroad and the brother is the reason that the counts duty was pushed on him but as characters they aren't bad people The dad is actually really nice and him and his wife are really cute. And love heldric!!! But still mad at him for not delivering clauden's letters to ruan... Nah there were so many ways that the main events wouldn't have been so traumatic but it's not use thinking about that cuz everything happened the way it happened but they still got together
