Ohh interesting My first guess is that the handsome guy is related to the past incident that made him unable to see faces, like maybe he protected the handsome guy but was punished by the other people (the bullies etc) and that's what made him hate others and unsee people's faces OR Handsome guy also has an ability or curse like him which made this guy stand out from the others But I'd bet on the first one tbh
