I- I don't know how to feel about this, it's 4am, I haven't been resting properly, and this all is just crazy. I like it, but is it good? Yes and no. It has great art and it is unique. But how it deals with it's inicial setting... it kinda doesn't follow up. I agree, most manga don't know how to deal or portray abuse victims, and this is no exception... mc is a young man who js traumatized af... he saw his family and kingdom get crushed and burned. He became a sex slave and was constantly humiliated and treated as garbage. He was taken in by another master, who also didn't treat him well/respectfully, better than before? Yes, still... bad. Empress the fl, is a "good" monarch, she uses her cards right and is very rational, she takes care of her kingdom and solves problems, is divided by her identity as a mixed blood and all. But after she realize she loves mc... and the hunting event, it all kind of goes downhill? They explain her total out of character reactions and almost like a split personality just because: wolves love too much, human is rational, wolves are instinct-oriented. And she goes berserker, I do get she went mad, but it felt weird how she just changed her core values... her absolutely 1st priority was power and being an empress, now she just does whatever she feels, even the craziest shit, bc mc was hurt, and it's all her suitors fault. They are lacking trsut and communication... maybe it would make the story flow better too... idk, it felt very manipulative and weird for her to go full on instinct and kind of madness, when she was the most cold and rational character. Anyway, probably will see how this ends, 5 stars.
