ENNEAD
This is a tough one to review, as there is a TON of questionable content, but the overall story and art is absolutely phenomenal. In a way, I suppose reading it as a Grimdark helps. The amount of times Seth has been raped is absolutely terrible, only once has it seemed to be somewhat consensual. The first time, I question if it was even needed, that of Horus doing it to him. The other times seemed to be actual key elements of his story, but the way its portrayed is a bit distasteful. An extra chapter somewhere in there was also just rape porn. Usually, I just drop rape romanticizing stories, but I can't help but be hooked onto this one. The incestual bonds don't worry me, as much like Greek mythology, these themes are simply how many Mythologies with multiple Gods goes. Usually that is also an immediate drop for me though. So really, I am conflicted beyond belief. I want to believe the writer doesn't find non-con stuff appealing, but for how many times we've seen it, I hate to play stupid. I suppose there's no hurt in reading this just to read it, not like I am supporting the author in any way. I just hope it stops. Much more and I will have to drop it, which will really suck. This one has so much more quality than other works on here. I suppose nothing comes without a catch.
