Overall I’m not sure how I felt about this webtoon. It’s ur typical shounen action. Nothing that special, it’s actually quite overhyped. I was for sure invested but it’s not one of the best things I’ve read as opposite to the high praises it gets.
The author wrote this webtoon only to please himself and the fanboys. In complete disregard to any female reader as if we don’t exist.
Any time shounen fanboys hype something up, that’s how you know it won’t be a good read/watch. Glad I didn’t have high hopes for this webtoon.
I heard solo leveling was good with no romance. First chapter in and a love interest is already all up our face.
What’s even worse, she’s given the typical “healer” role as a female character.
I really hate when a male author can’t keep a female character around unless she’s a damsel in distress simping over the mc. That’s such narrow minded writing.
Also before time traveling, she literally had no reason to fall for the biggest loser which is him. Idk what’s up with this cliche trope, the popular cute girl falling for the dude with nothing, that’s not how reality works.
The love interest has to at least be attracted to something and that something gotta be realistic too.

The only female S-ranker in KR is the only one who isn’t either a guild master or independent…. She still has to be under a man and be called “n2” even though she’s one of the two strongest s rankers in kr, and the other one would be the chairman. The blatant sexism is too much

Good thing the mc is a quick thinker. I’m mostly glad he’s not a wuss and actually kills humans too. Otherwise his character would’ve been trash and I would’ve dropped this out of frustration.

Red Ignis is just pure class, his whole aura is badass. Then we have the ice elves, they’re freaking cold ugh I really liked them.
The ending was hella disappointing. The mc was unfortunately a mere softie human. I’m so disappointed that the true shadow Monarch died all for this?… wth the plot armor this man has is hateful.
A villain route would be a lot nicer for once.
