When I say this is the most ridiculous, predictable story that I’ve read in a while, I mean it. The story starts out with this maid, who is supposed to stay in the palace according to her mom or she will die. But she gets sent to the Crown Prince’s Palace. He is always firing his maids so she needs to figure out how she can kind of get on his good side so that she can stay in the palace. From there, you could have called it. She’s having dreams about who she thinks will be the next emperor and the Crown Prince’s sort of kind of fiancée. Come to find out she is the girl who is the saints, not the kind of sort of fiancée. And the cousin is not going to be the emperor. Of course it’s going to be the leading man. Then miss girl finds out she’s the priest’s granddaughter, the daughter of the king of a different kingdom, and her mom is alive. Mind you they show the mom as a spirit once and we never see her again And of course the book goes exactly how I thought it was gonna go. In her past life, her man sacrificed himself for her and they sealed the evil away. In this life, she sacrifices herself for her man. He ends up saving her and then they live happily ever after the end. But the crazy part is he builds up and the foolishness in the middle. A good majority of the plot wander even necessary. The fight scenes at the end was wack, and it seemed like they just wanted to finish the book so… 7.5/10. Oh and the art style wasn’t consistent I feel.
