The Uke basically thinks that the Seme is straight and ends up telling him that his type is straight guys (because he believes the Seme is straight he is projecting it onto his partners). The Seme is gay and in love with Uke but after the Uke confesses that he’s only into straight men (he’s not) the Seme basically pretends to be straight in order to become a potential love interest. This just makes it worse and causes more misunderstandings and they basically go around in circles because of this
