I have some complicated feelings about this story. I understand that the MC has been in live with the ML since high school but what I’m so surprised at how utterly heartbroken he is by the rejection. It makes sense that he would reject you. As harsh as it is, the reality is that the ML has never spoken you and doesn’t know you beyond you being an acquaintance/a name he’s heard of before. I don’t like how MC is somewhat pushing this narrative that the ML is closeted and could potentially love him just because he was capable of marrying a man in the past life. So what if he married a guy and turned out to be gay in your past life?? That’s a self-discovery that the ML should be/is capable of in his own. Don’t push that onto him. The MC kinda annoyed me with his mindset of “Well he (ML) ended up marrying a guy in the future, so now that I’ve gone back to the past maybe I can be the one to make him uncover his inner homosexual.” Don’t force a sexual identity onto someone. If he’s straight right now but then discovers otherwise in the future, that’s for him to sort out
