Edit I realized u didn't explain this and I kinda have no idea what it's about
I think it's about the fact that he want to be himself and being held back by others
Like he doesn't like white and all that stuff, but nobody knows about it and nobody asks about it so he can't be himself in front of anybody which is mentally draining
