Adults in a fantasy knights/dragons setting. Mc got turned to stone trying to kill medusa and his statue is brought back by eden the elf. He is mourned in the town square, and after while they try to get rid of his statue, so eden takes the statue in. Eden is a shy elf, and talks to mc (max) the statue day in and day out. mc comes to feel some way or other about eden, and eventually they figure out how to temporarily turn max back to human. They go on a quest to see medusa to see if she'll turn max back human. Medusa says she only will if they bring back the head of Poseidon's favorite pet, since it's his fault she was turned into this monster to begin with. so they set out on quest with friends alexa (fire mage) and rua (healer) to try and get the task done. this is pretty much fully a comedy. in the main part of the comic, there isn't really any sex, so don't expect it until the side stories after. it's a pretty good comedy, alexa and rua are pretty great in the story too (and not harpies!). max and eden are kinda boring, and eden especially, despite being characterized as debilitatingly shy, doesn't have much to his character. it would be nice to give him more active choices in the story aside from thwarting max's courting at every turn even though he actually wants to date max. and also, not even in the side stories do we see anything about the issue eden was worried about, how he'll outlive max by a lot and have to see him die, etc. also a little surprised there is no conversation about sexuality as one might think medieval setting would be less forgiving about gayness but i guess since it is a made-up setting the author can have it be like anything. either way, no one seems bothered by a gay, interspecies relationship. in the end, this was a pretty good comedy, and the two leads are switches without comment in the side stories so that's nice too. this had me laughing out loud several times.
