The story seems everywhere. It's not necessarily bad I just got this odd unsettling feeling while reading it. I don't dislike it but it just makes me feel out of place. The story telling itself was good both show and tell the plots interesting and I read until the end one because I couldn't stop reading two because I legitimately started to enjoy it. The biggest issue I have with the story is the r*pe. And the toxicity the relationship has I don't feel like the relationship would last. Putting all that aside story telling like this give me a weird kind of inspiration no matter the genre.

Bullshit at its finest, it ain't even worth the read every thing fucked up about the story is ignored and put off this shit isn't cute just because the leads kiss and move on! Fuck this.
