The Heros party almost defeats the demon king but at what cost. The hero is dead. But he comes back to life. Or comes back to unlife. He is cursed by the Demon King to live as an undead

It's like re:zero x overlord. A skeleton risen from the dead is granted the ability to return to his past self after death. The scenario is a bit confusing because he's already dead but is then undead but then he is killed as an undead and is brought back to a "save point" where he is still undead.
