Peach Love

Complete | Fujoking | 2015 released

It wasn't good in the sense I usually think of when looking at BL, but that isn't a bad thing. It has an actual plot going on and while the relationship is important it's not at the centre all the time. By the end things got pretty deep. I didn't think I'd enjoy this kind of style as much as I did.

Solo Leveling

Complete | Jang Sung-Lak,Gee So-Lyung | 2000 released

This literally makes 99% of comics out there seem like shit by comparison. Once you read it there's no going back. Waiting for updates is pure torture. EDIT: I think they might kill Jinwoo. Don't read past when he becomes one with darkness (you'll understand when you get there) which is around ch 165. At least if you wanna stick to the standard op mc formula that doesn't get too deep or want a happy ending. Maybe I'm wrong but it don't look good. EDIT 2: Well it's finished. I won't talk about the specifics for the sake of spoilers but it's a mixed bag. I can see why people would love this and think it's a great ending, but it still feels a little off to me. Maybe because they play with the idea of removing his powers but don't confirm it one way or the other, maybe it's the many things that happened that are now obsolete. Maybe it's the divergence from the "he does cool shit and everyone is amazed" genre. They also brought back a girl, was she his ex? Or maybe the one that had a crush on him? I honestly can't remember there's literally no reason for her to be around and her personality isn't anything to write home about either. EDIT 3: Damn ch180 really got me... < it was an april fools prank, been removed now. EDIT 4: The side stories are pretty good but there's romance. EDIT 5: Can we get a spin off that's the entire series all over again but with the dragon king in Jinwoo's body? That snippet was amazing but ended too soon. EDIT 6: Can't believe I fell for the April fool's prank again, makes me wonder if it's the same person doing both of them.

Her Summon

Ongoing | park jinjoon | 2000 released

I forgot to rate it because I didn't read it on this site... I'm so disappointed in myself. Basically this is the best thing since sliced bread and you should read it. EDIT: Wanted to add that the ending was lovely but a side story chapter would be nice. I like seeing a bit of what happens after everything is done and dusted, even if it's obvious what that's gonna look like. To clarify, we do get to see what happens ultimately with Yutuba's irl life and whatnot, but they drop a lil something in the last couple panels and then don't go any further with it.

The Last Human

Ongoing | Amazing Works | 2000 released

The more you read, the more it sucks you in. And for whatever reason the MC and his male friend are really shippable? You'd think this was a BL if you saw the right scenes out of context.

I Am The Sorcerer King Webtoon

Ongoing | Decaspell,Miro | 2000 released

Pretty interesting. Some parts can feel slow but there's still enough action to keep you invested and the MC's "power ups" can get hype. EDIT: Later parts really didn't feel all that interesting for me, MC largely lost his ambition and the side characters who I found boring (particularly pink hair girl) took up too much screen time.

Tomb Raider King

Ongoing | Yoonz,Redice studio | 2019 released

Almost as good as solo leveling, but this isn't a rip off like some people say. This ones much more dependant on the characters (which are great btw).

Revival Man

Ongoing | jae yong taek,kim jae-han | 2016 released

For once the mc isn't a high school pussy. He's an actual adult who's not afraid to kill people. Despite that the character growth is fenominal in a way that isn't the "I'm now morally superior" thing you usually see with mature characters.

The Boxer

Ongoing | Jeong ji-hoon,Jihoon jung (정지훈),정지훈 | 2019 released

The best thing since sliced bread. I've always had a thing for op protagonists but DAMN this is good. EDIT: I dropped this thinking they were gonna pull a switcharoo with the ML role but maybe I'll go check if it's true?

I Log In Alone

Ongoing | 인타임,Rose studio | 2019 released

It's more of a comedy than a power fantasy. The mc being unaware of how absurd the things he does are is the highlight of the series. EDIT: I think I dropped this a while back and I can't remember why?

Kill the Hero

Ongoing | D-dart,Manhwa life | 2019 released

Kinda meh, nothing really original happened but there's no reason not to like it. EDIT: It's kinda grown on me now, don't know when/how/why but I also don't care.
