Yuka is a freshman in HS. He falls for his next-door-neighbor/homeroom teacher and pursues him. At first his (very young, very gorgeous) teacher isn't interested in a kid, but slowly falls for Yuka despite his moral objections. During the story Yuka is the victim of bullying from jealous girls, and is the (clueless) object of affection for an older student "friend". Worst of all, on top of all this, Yuka's grandmother (the only parent he's ever known) falls into a coma and when she finally wakes, she lives only a few days before finally passing away and leaving him in the legal care of his teacher/lover. At one point he discovers his real mother but she has a husband and children who know nothing of Yuka and she has no interest in her eldest child and is quite happy to pawn him off on his teacher.
