I'm not usually into psychological stories, mostly bc they tend to be pretty dark and twisted, but honestly, this whole split personality thing was extremely interesting. So, I give this 4 stars, bc the abuse in the beginning wasn't to my liking and there were some plot holes due to the uncensored version being made ater the censored one. But the way everything worked out in the end, I'm satisfied and I liked it. Also, it looks like the second couple is gonna be versatile, and I'm all up for it

I wanted to like this.I was looking forward to something fluffy but hot. However, the sexual assault in the beginning threw me off. Not full-on rape, but definitely an assault. And then, the black-haired guy kept on calling the blond a princess. Sigh. So fucking annoying. If the blond guy would've been interested in being a princess on his own, then I would love it, I would applaud it, I would happily accept it. But, it's so blatantly obvious he's being just thrown into the classic "uke" mold, aka, "the girl" mold. You just know he isn't in this story to be a feminine guy, but a replacement for a girl. And I hate yaoi stories like that.

So, I started reading this expecting a vampire romance. Now, it's super interesting as a story, but the relationship between the uke and the seme is extremely toxic. The seme is often abusive, doesn't care about the uke's consent, and once, he even hit him. He's also extremely emotionally manipulative, but the most terrifying thing about him is that he actually believes he's a good person and that he's treating the one he loves kindly. This would be ok if it were meant as horror, but, since it's yaoi, it's brushed off, even romanticized.

So, the first story really had me rooting for both guys....until suddenly, it didn't. By the end of it, the seme became quite creepy & manipulative. It wasn't all bad, but it did leave a bittersweet taste in my mouth. Also, after reading the reviews, I'm scared to read the second story and I probably won't.
