i think the comments in the story don't understand the uke's intentions as he is more accepting and forgiving but he is gullible rather than being a simp. The fact that the seme had raped him after saving him from being raped might have changed how the uke viewed him as two major things happened within the same fucking hour and might have made him think that "oh he saved me, he should be able to get his reward". The only way to explain that would be he is gullible and accepts what's given or taken from him. Plus, in the tags there is no romance tag so I would assume there is no happy ending in romantic terms, but I would hope that each individual as a person in the story has a happy ending as they have faced trauma shaping their viewpoints and have been through a journey as human beings So they end up together after the seme served his time and I think the uke still hasn't let go and we really cant understand things from the seme's perspective so its incomplete in terms for me
